No Rest - Dry the River

For this task we were made to listen to the song No rest by Dry the River. The first time we listened to the song without visuals, we closed our eyes and listened to the style of music and imagined what kind of video would suit this song. After we had listened to it for the first time we then got a copy of the lyrics....

After seeing and listening to the song again, I began to imagine an outdoors setting with lots of nature and green/brown colours and lighting. The song seemed to be about someone he once loved so i imagine the artist to be quite passionate when singing as it repeats the ' I loved you in the best way possible'. I could also imagine a man laying down with rain pouring down whilst singing the lyrics. For this type of song I imagine a performance style music video. I could also see a main artist singing in an empty field with people slightly further in the field playing musical instruments.
